About

A little bit about me…

Hey! I’m Danielle. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am a writer by nature and find complete peace by expressing myself in this way. I have an affinity for ‘the details’, fresh flowers, my morning cup of coffee, and all things beauty related. I’m a Cleveland, Ohio native, Midwest girl at heart and have so much pride in my hometown. My husband, Dustin, and I love Cleveland and Cleveland sports (both being college athletes ourselves). We also love all genres of music and appreciate nothing more than a good jam. We are most likely to be spotted on the lawn at Blossom or at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. So, it’s no coincidence that is exactly how we met! We ended up talking for hours at a downtown bar, high on a walk-off win after a quintessential summer Friday night Tribe game (fireworks, dollar dog night and all!). It’s safe to say the Tribe weren’t the only ones who hit it out of the park that night!! Ultimately, this blog is a love story after all. Hence the inspiration for its naming. Dustin is my soul mate and my best friend. He makes me want to be a better person every day. Our love for each other, and a love of family is the absolute most important thing to us. Even though I have wanted to start this blog years ago, it seems fitting that I would actually turn it into a reality when our next love story is about to begin. The beginning of our own family and the next chapter of our lives will be the greatest love story of all.

We are currently trying to start our family by undergoing fertility treatments. If sharing what we are going through can help others or even our process as well, then putting ourselves out there in this way will all be worth it. That is the main goal and intent for this blog. The hope is that this space will be a space for family, for reflection, for creative outlet – a personal journal, and a place to find the joy, to romanticize all the little things in life. We greatly appreciate you following along! I’m so excited to see how this space evolves over time and hope you’ll stay along with us for the ride! Comments, sharing, and community are strongly encouraged!!!
