2016 D&D

When our love story began…

We met, began dating, and on October 22, 2016 officially became a couple! We met after a Cleveland Indians walk-off win, dated through the playoffs, and attended Game 7 of the World Series together as a couple. This is why we say “It all started with a Tribe game!”. To say this season of our life was electric would be an astounding understatement. Cleveland and especially Cleveland baseball is engrained in the fabric of our relationship and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

2017 Living Together

Moved in together. ❤

2018 Proposal

Lived in construction – put our love, sweat and tears into the home Dustin grew up in and made it our own.

Got Engaged! on New Years Eve!!

2019 Our Wedding

Planned the wedding of our dreams, were married on August 31, 2019, and celebrated with the most fun party ever!!! … even the Cleveland Indians Hotdogs were in attendance!

2020 Covid

Survived a global pandemic and all that it brought with it.

2021 Forever Home

Purchased our forever home and sold our beloved home on 10th street that we will always cherish – the first home that we made our own.

2022 Home Plans & Property

Began plans for the renovation of our forever home. Experienced for the first time the approval process to renovate and build where we live. Worked with the Village to vacate an outdated ‘paper street’ which changed the lot lines of our property. Underwent proceedings to acquire additional land next to our property but in the end did not get approval. 

2023 Fertility & Career Advancement

Began fertility treatment, immersed ourselves in all things fertility and learned a lot!

The year of the great job search – opened new avenues of interest and made many meaningful connections for career advancement.

2024 IVF “You Gotta Believe”

Completed 3 IVF Retrieval Cycles. Beginning the start of our family in this way has been the most difficult and yet rewarding experience we have ever had to go through thus far.

Went to as many Tribe games as we could this year, which brought us back to when we met. This was much needed as going through IVF can be taxing at times, to say the least. The last time our team made it to the pennant series was back in 2016 (8 years ago) when we started dating, and we like to think we had a little something to do with the Tribe ‘rallying together’ in the post season once again. We bring the wins! But in all seriousness, it was so much fun to attend playoff baseball together and be a part of the city that we love. “You Gotta Believe” in more ways than one.

Celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary!!! with family and friends! Spent Labor Day Weekend (aka Wedding Weekend for us) on Portage Lakes at the same cottage we stayed at for our wedding in 2019. Hosting and bringing our loved ones together to create memories is what we truly enjoy!

As we underwent IVF and experienced all the emotions attached to this process, we stayed grounded in what matters most…each other. This year we brought it back to two of the greatest times of importance in our life, when we met and when we got married. This helped to keep spirits high and reminded us of our strength.
